Kantha is a traditional method from the Eastern part of the Indian subcontinent that is similar to the Japanese sashiko embroidery technique and uses hand-stitching to make a sturdy, dense fabric out of thinner layers. The jacket also features the distinctive chest pocket from the traditional German liner and utility-oriented details such as a two-way zip and hand pockets. Once the jacket was sewn, it was sent to Bagru Textiles to be overdyed. Made in India.
