The Playscapes shirt is based off Isamu Noguchi’s early sketches for his series of playgrounds. While only one playground of Noguchi’s ever came to fruition, we love to imagine a world in which thoughtful outdoor spaces like his are the norm. In a year marked by a pandemic that kept us inside and homebound, Noguchi’s playscape series has a newfound impact. The Wrecked t-shirt references classic Reid Miles typographic treatments and our FW20 Drunk Check flannel fabric. Miles’ bold use of motion and shape created a unique, but unified, look for Blue Note records during his tenure as graphic designer. Please note that this season’s graphic tee series is printed on our Pima t-shirt body, not our usual Heavyweight tees. Made in the USA.

The Work Pant is a new straight leg pant style inspired by French laborer uniforms. This pant silhouette is similar to our Fatigue Pant in that it’s roomier altogether and features a straight leg with a slight taper coupled with a higher rise, and roomy top block. We’ve paired this fit with a luxe Japanese 8 wale corduroy that is soft to the touch, yet hard-wearing. Made in USA.

Our t-shirts feature a heavyweight jersey fabric that’s custom knit for us in Canada. The material is then cut and sewn in San Francisco, CA in the same factory where our jeans are made. Once cut and sewn, they are sent to a local dye house in Los Angeles to be dyed to limited-edition colors. Due to the dyeing process, these tees have a softer, more broken-in hand than our standard tees and will not shrink further. Please check the measurement chart and size accordingly.
Details
The Arp tee features gentle lines and shapes inspired by the artist Jean Arp, one of the key figures in the early 20th century Dada movement. We recognized forms that appear in Jean Arp’s paintings in our FW20 Camo pattern, so we commissioned Strange Practice to design a graphic for us inspired by those shapes and colors. This graphic is printed on our soft, roomier fitting Pima t-shirts. Made in the USA.
